From July 2021 to February 2022, I served as a Front-End Developer and Lead UX Designer at Amazon Studios Technology. Tasked with developing a custom platform to streamline the onboarding process for production teams working on Amazon Prime Originals, I collaborated with the Technology Communications team. My role involved creating external resources for key production members, simplifying their onboarding experience.
Utilizing my skills in UX design and full-stack development, I constructed a website using Ghost CMS. This platform served as a central hub for Amazon Prime Originals, enabling end-users to access training materials, production checklists, schedule pre-production meetings, and seek assistance through the Zen Desk ticketing system. Despite challenges such as rapid growth within the Studios Technology Department and limited resources, I successfully led the project to completion by the original deadline of January 2022.
Taking charge of the project when the main UX Designer went on leave, I leveraged my prior CMS development experience to navigate unfamiliar territory with Ghost CMS. Despite being short-staffed, I ensured the timely delivery of the platform, facilitating a smooth soft launch.
